In math we are doing decimals and fractions. we compare them and Mrs. Bonham tought us there ways to find out which fraction is bigger the x-man where you multiply the top and the bottom of the other set of numbers. Then she tought us a number line where you put 0,1/2 and 1 then find out which is the biggest also there is lcm least commen multiple you find out the product of 2 mutiples and all the denomenaotors have to = the same number.
In reading we are working on comercials. about how they trick you and how they want famous people to come on and make you buy the product and tricks and that stuff.
we are working on colonies in ss. we have to make our own colony and then post stuff on Mrs. Bonham's wiki about our colony. They are due this Friday.
We have to make a children book from the book that we are reading now and we have to make a map and then map it out then write about our book and make a picture book for children and we have to read it to 1st graders and they are due this thursday.
In writing we are writing about a topic that Mrs. Bonham gave us we got like 7 things to pick from. I picked crabs because i did not want to do anything else.

what we are doing in class this quarter april, 19, 2010

what we are doing in class this quarter is................. in science we are studying animals and we have been watching discovery channel videos on the projector we have been having lots of fun! i love science. in math we are learning how to show eqivulent fractions. it is very fun. but i am very nervous for the EOG but i think everyone will do great! mrs.bonham said she thinks we all will pass and do a wonderful job! she is the best teacher ever!! i will miss her alot next year.

Class Work

What we're doing in class so far is that we're working on colonies. It's really fun! We get to make houses, and a whole lot of other stuff. In reading,we are doing poems,and for our readers theater,we are doing the poem "Dreams". For math,we are learning about fractions. The book we are reading is the book "Holes",it's about this kid named Stanley(Caveman) goes to camp greenlake for stealing shoes. Well,not exactly!! So,yeah,we're doing alot of stuff right now. Woops! Time to go!
